FABLEQUEST'S TAKE
Why look closer?
The appealing question is not simply which card is strongest, but which effects belong together. Our pick for readers who enjoy constructing a system and watching an ordinary move become valuable inside it.
A good fit if…
People who prefer thinking about synergies to testing their reflexes.
Before you choose.
The poker theme can set the wrong expectation: approach it as a deckbuilding game. Check the official trailer to see whether its scoring loop appeals.
A question to take with you.
Improve one card, or change the combination around it?
Our selection and questions are editorial interpretations of official material, not a hands-on verdict or review score.
